What is Noon Saakinah & Tanween?
ن without a vowel — and the doubled-vowel sign
Noon Saakinah (نْ) is the letter Noon that carries a Sukoon — found in the middle or end of a word. Tanween is the noon sound that appears at the end of a noun, written as a doubled vowel (ـً ـٍ ـٌ). Both sound the same and share the same four rules.
