Two vowelless letters in a row

Iltiqa’ As-Saakinain = ‘the meeting of two Saakins’. It happens when a vowelless letter at the end of a word meets a vowelless letter at the start of the next, when we JOIN them in recitation. Arabic does not like this — speech becomes impossible.
